My clients are individuals who are not currently happy with their life situation, even though they may not say so. They know they can be happier and more content, if they only knew how. The motivation to change is what makes clients move toward reaching their potential. I believe everyone has this ability. I enjoy working with clients of all ages, "helping them to help themselves" from a holistic perspective, and specialize in mood and anxiety disorders and women's/men's issues, as well as ADHD diagnosis and treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. My specialty areas evolved from extensive experience in private practice, educational settings, and community mental health.
Preferred pronouns: she/her/hers. Healing often begins when clients and therapists collaborate to achieve the best possible outcomes. While change can often be an intimidating process, with the right support, individuals seeking counseling should feel empowered to capitalize on their strengths to improve their quality of life. My clients are individuals living with challenges such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, grief and loss, gender dysphoria, obsessive-compulsive disorders and other issues who are looking to make positive, lasting changes in their lives.
As a Certified Mindfulness-Informed Clinician, I will help you learn how the principles of mindfulness can be used to expand awareness of the present moment, enrich relationships with others, improve professional identity, and deepen spiritual connections. We are an LGBTQ+ affirmative practice and welcome all individuals seeking healing and growth.

My counseling approach is toward wellness and healing. People face many life challenges that may result in a state of brokenness, fatigue, and burnout. I will partner with you to find answers to hard questions, and solutions to your temporary and persistent life’s problems. I believe that counseling is a journey in which an equipped and experienced counselor walks alongside the person who seeks understanding and growth in certain life issues and behaviors. Counseling is never meant to be a passive experience - something being administered to you - but rather an active encounter that leads to growth and change for the better. I am a licensed professional counselor since 2010 with a PhD in counseling. With a strong background in holistic, spiritual and wellness counseling, I am able to provide professional counseling to address your needs. You can be confident that you will have a good listener and helper. Counseling adolescents, adults, and seniors is my passion
Pronouns: he/him/his | Have you felt out of balance, unwell? Have you felt that the well-being of your mind, body, spirit, emotions, and connections have suffered as a result? I serve clients from a wellness and strengths-based approach. Together, we'll foster a relationship based on authenticity and accountability. We will also identify strengths and protective factors that have served you well in challenging times, as well as areas for growth. The beauty of this approach is that I can see strength even when you’ve temporarily lost sight of it. I would be honored if you were to come alongside me to embark on your wellness journey.
I have worked with clients of all ages in community mental health, a children’s hospital, a college counseling clinic, and in private practice, where I have primarily treated anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. My specialized area of focus is working affirmatively with LGBTQ+ individuals to address their mental health and wellness needs.

For nearly two decades, I have worked in a community mental health agency as a case manager and therapist. My special interests include anxiety, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and depression – particularly in men.
